Congratulations on fixing the End of Season pitching bug.

I had a situation where I was leading by 3 games with 3 games to play.

Both teams were correctly shown in regular font.

The game - all by itself - correctly pitched the next pitcher in line, then (After I had won that game and clinched the playoffs) it went to the Minor Leagues, and pulled up the top two minor league pitchers to start the last two games of the season.

One problem, though. The AI simply pulled up the top two pitchers in line. Both were relievers with no endurance, and neither lasted more than three innings.

I guess now that I know that it will not search for a starter, I can make sure that the top AAA guys are the ones that I want to give the cup of coffee to. But that is kind of difficult since there is no way to directly target any spot in AAA.

Is there any plan to rank the AAA, similar to the way the bench players are ranked?

Slugger,
I have been wondering the same thing. It would be helpful to be able to place minor leaguers in specific slots.

Just swap with the other slots, say the spot starter. If you want to change the first guy in AAA with one in the 8th slot (or any other), just bring the first guy up to spot starter, then swap him with the guy in the 8th slot, then swap him back with the original spot starter, who is now first on the AAA list. You end up with the guy you want in the first slot.

After my team clinched first place and made Slugger settle for the wild card ;) , I was quite pleased to see my Starting Pitchers get rested for the playoffs. Thanks to all the guys at BBMO for fixing this situation!

However, a career reliever was given a start for my team. It would be nice if the computer picked a "SP" if there was one available in the minors.

Yes, I've done this. Quite a tedious process just to shuffle some players around. I was trying to say that it would be nice if there were an easier way.

While I'm on the warpath...can the bug with defensive changes affecting the batting order be worked on? I know this has been brought up numerous times, but it can be a real pain and cause problems if you forget to go back and adjust your lineup. Thanks!
