My Montreal Revolution team in Beta48 has the same problem with Pavano as a batter and Knorr as a pitcher. I would love this problem fixed.

I had that problem and this is how I fixed it. I had to use the wheel on my mouse...so hopefully you have one.

Anyways...go to roster and put the pitcher that is on your hitters roster as your starting catcher...or #1 in the list. Then go to the catcher that you are trying to get back to his normal position and do the following. Cick on the tab to the left of his name and move him to anoter spot...for example..if he is 8, then move him to 4 or something....but dont click your mouse..instead scroll back to the original number the player was at with the wheel on your mouse. When did that it put my catcher back at catcher and the pitcher went to the spot the catcher vacated. Then fix your pitching and lineup respectively.

I know that is probably confusing to understand but I hope I can help.

OsN210 -

You may be on to something here.

Can I ask all three of you folks - what browser are you using?

When I try to change a person's position with the drop-down lists, the moment I release the button or turn the mouse wheel, then the browser submits my changes.

I'm wondering if you three are using an older browser that does not recognize that kind of "submit on change" interface.

Perhaps your browser is not using javascript or something?

I'm using Internet Explorer 5.0.

Thanks,
James Grove

When the problem occurred i was using the AOL browser and went BACK to redo a roster change that failed the first time. Now i am using the Communicator and can`t seem to fix the problem as i am using a laptop with no mouse.

Hey, I use Netscape on AOL and aso use Explorer when I am at work and it does do the automatic submit thing....you just have to scrol back to the original number before i submits....have to have a quick mouse finger! Im not sure why this worked for me but it did.

In case you guys didn't see Clay's posting, he has fixed this bug.

(At least, we believe he has fixed this bug. You can never be 100% certain with bugs...)

If you pitchers and catchers are still messed up, hit the "Auto-Sort" button. The computer will automatically put the players where they belong as part of the auto-sort cleanup.

Cheers,
James Grove

I also noticed in the Beta 42 Hourly league, where Piazza was bugged and was pitching for Detroit, that the New York Mets have catcher Todd Pratt pitching in the starting rotation. He has 2 no-hitters already this season....the only other no-hitter thrown this season was by Piazza.

Wow, maybe you shouldn't press Auto-sort
