Introducing my latest venture in BBMO addiction...
STEINBRENNER'S INVITATIONAL.
-- Equalized league, playing on a 30/day sim schedule.
-- One free drop per team after 2005 season and every 5th season thereafter.
-- League will be reset every 25 years.
-- Top owner of each quarter century (as voted on by colleagues) receives the "Steinbrenner Cup," a championship trophy that I'll have mailed to their door.
-- Championships posted on web site (http://www.dpmonline.com/indyleague/)
Who is in?
The following have either been invited into the league, or have applied and been approved for membership:

How Can You Get into Steinbrenner's Invitational?
Send an e-mail to "mogul @ coltsport.com" (no posts or PM's, please), telling me:
(1) Who you are,
(2) What other league(s) you participate/have participated in,
(3) Why you'd like to be "invited to the dance," and
(4) What you'd do with the Steinbrenner Cup should you win it. (I've received responses from "I'd eat my Wheaties out of it," to "I'd donate it to the Baseball Hall of Fame." There is no right or wrong answer folks, I'm just curious).
If chosen, I'll respond to your e-mail with details and that day's password to get in. You'll then have until noon ET the next day to login, otherwise you'll need to get a new password.
Some applicants are immediately approved, others may take several days, and others still may not be approved at all. So if you don't hear something, please don't make any assumptions one way or the other. As I don't intend to seek replacement owners for any who bail during a 25-year period, I'm being very deliberate with adding owners to this league. I intend to do things right, not do them right now.
