I think it would be cool if some healines made fun of teams that made bad trades in the past. "Remeber whens"
They would be triggered when a player has a great season and in the past was traded for some player that sucks or does not even play anymore.
For example:
Remember when Expos GM Dan Duquette trading Delino DeShields after the '93 season for Pedro Martinez. Now Martinez is one of the top pitchers in baseball and where is Delino now? Well he is packing grocery bags at a home town grocery store.
