Just signed up and joined a public league. How long does it normally take to fill the team (human) requirements for league play to begin? Anxious to get started.
Does my monthly time count while waiting for the league I've joined to fill?? Hope not.......

I would like to join a private league with some serious managers.....I've participated in fantasy baseball leagues for years and am interested to compete in this forum.
Anyone looking for an owner to fill out their league??...not overly concerned with which teams are available.

yes, why don't you come over to Independent League 30. That is my league, i'm the commish. We have a very active forum and some top notch GM's. I have 4 openings in Detroit, Arizona, Florida, and Oakland. We are just wrapping up our 2007 season.

nope. Just come on over and pick a team. I would suggest Detroit, but the other 3 are okay also.

Why do you suggest Detroit?

Yeah, we are in our 5th year (2007) right now. Their are not any leagues to my knowledge that are in 2003. You'll find that this is a good league with a bunch of good guys though.
Here is a brief rundown of the teams available:
Detroit: Has a couple young stud pitchers and a solid offense along with good revenues. A little T.L.C. and this team could be in the playoffs easily next year.
Oakland: Currently deadlocked in the race to win the A.L. West. They don't have much talent in the pitching department, but they sure have some good hitters. Not much in terms revenues to work with though, so they would be quite a challenge to keep competitive.
Florida: A mediocre team right now. Not much talent offensively, a couple good young pitchers but not a whole lot to work with here.
Arizona: If your up for a BIG challenge, they have little in terms of talent both Offensively, and Pitching. But a good size market so you never know maybe you could lure some FA's.
