Here is some data coming from older leagues with the CHN problem, and the inflated revenue for TB. Can anyone who is in a couple new leagues with the correct revenue do the same thing so we can compare?

I started a new league where I just let the computer play all the teams in order to check out what would happen to the revenue. It only started simming today but these are the projected revenue figures through May 31st for the teams that were reported to play out of tier (I only included the teams off by more than one tier):

COL 475
CHI A 453
CHI N 470
TB 283

Exactly how much of TBs revenue over the standard Tier 5 team is due to always playing two Tier 1s, and a couple Tier 3s. As I understand it, playing the big money teams helps draws fans to the park.

And I think part of COL initial M.O.T.R. (Money Over Tier Ranking - LOL) is partly due to having rabid fans at the beginning.

I've actually had the rockies for 10 years in the MAL and i started with a revenue of 602 for the first year and last year i actually pulled in 793. I am obviously not a teir 3 team. I think some of the discrepencies from tier ranking to revenue have to be due to team performance, star players. Further though, i think colorado is way off because the stats for their hitters are obviously inflated. If a star player is someone who hits xx amount of HR's and with a .xxx average, then someone playing in colorado is going to look more like a star to the fans. So basically, Colorado would get more fans coming out to ballgames and watching on tv if this is how the star rating affects your fans. I think this may be good reasoning, anyone else think this sounds right?

To continue from Kyles1483; I've Got Seattle in MAL. After 10 years I've only managed to get my revenue from 431 to an average of 474. But, I'm not at all sure what the influences are.
Do stars really inluence the attendance? Do the visiting teams being played influence the attendance? Unless I get official confirmation I'll keep an open mind. If these things matter, it could explain some things and Kyles1483 has made a good point.
I've tried cheap ticket prices and pay tv. Attendance improved slowly as well as revenue. If I increase ticket prices, attendance falls.

I've tried normal ticket prices with free tv. Attendance lower but revenue slightly better. Last time I looked Colorado was sticking with free tv.

My fans seem really fickle. They come the season after playoff success but don't seem too impressed by divisional wins.
