We have eliminated the popup ads. But we are still using the banner ads to generate some revenue and help promote Baseball Mogul Online on other sites.

Would you pay more for no banner ads?

They don't bother me...and the purpose of the LinkExchange banners is to draw traffic to the main page...which means more user sign ups :D

Maybe if you have a slow connection, it would slow down load time, but that is the only negative I see. Although the banners often don't work...if you click on the LinkExchange banners it brings you to Microsoft bCentral saying it is an incorrect link

I don't mind the banners on the site now. Like Mr. Kaplan wrote, LinkExchange banners can bring in traffic from other sites as well.

I would rather pay less for more banner ads than pay more for fewer banner ads. But I really think that the mix between the monthly fee and the banner ads right now is pretty fair.

By the time you get down here, there are no banner ads either. :)

I don't mind the banner ads being up there, unless I'm automatically taken to them for no reason. Sometimes (this happens on and off), when I click to go somewhere it goes to that page for a split second, and then goes to the link exchange page. Pretty much like a pop-up, except the page never works. (And no, I'm not accidentaly clicking on the banner. That would be impossible to do a hundred times.)

I think you guys obviously could use some more members, and since I was lured to this site initially through a banner, I think you should stick with link exchange and maximize your exposure. Also, try doing some advertising and maybe working with people who offer you help.

to be honest, i never even noticed that there were adds until you mentioned it. I like how they are not huge adds that take up half the page. The adds are fine the way they are, especially if it makes you more money. if it would lower the price, put adds at the top AND bottom.
