Western Mogul Baseball Says Good Bye.

Western Mogul Baseball will cease operations at the end of the current season. It was been real fun, despite a major lack of any sort of significant support from BBMO.

It is a shame, that such a potentially good product should be so abused and mis-managed.

Anyway, enough of the negative. Over the past couple years I have met and played with some wonderful players. It has been a blast. But my schedule is so crazy that the time necessary to run a league like WMB is so consumming as to take the fun out of the game when you have to spend all your time recruiting to stay competitive and can not even get simple answers from the BBMO staff.

It is a shame. WORST of all, I leave #11 on the posting board. <heavy sigh>.

I tip my hat to those that have really supported me and my efforts in running a league. Particuarly Dabs and Steiny. I wish you both the very very best. And Steiny stay healthy will you.

Anyway I leave with a heavy-heart but for me its time to take a break. So if you need someone to throw out the first pitch, give me a buzz, but for the National Anthem, you better call Roseann Barr.

I'm sorry to see you go, Fritz. It's a sad day. Unfortunately I suspect there'll be others that follow soon, as you're right - neglect has sounded a death knell for BBMO.

Should you ever decide to come back, and should I still be around if/when you do, please keep in mind that there'll always be a spot for you in any league I may operate... even if I have to kick Dabs out to make one. :D

Being that I keep coming back to check out the boards in hopes that BBMO would improve. So, this announcement is one sad day for BBBMO.

Thanks for all that you have done to make WMB one of the best leagues that I have ever participated in. Fritz, you are truly one great commish and a good friend.
