After taking 30 minutes to download the game I found it to be ****. I payed $20 and the main screen is barely changed. When I start the game there are simple changes down but nothing special. Then when I look at rosters they are awful. Come on Clay, you live in Chicago. Todd Ritchie? Jim Parque? They havent been on the White Sox for years. The ratings suck too. Showenweis is a starter and his endurance is like 33. Come on man, I understand it's tough to make the game and time consuming, but what makes a game is the simple things. The little things that are easier to do will go farther than complex stuff. I would rather have updated rosters and proper ratings than a Wild Card Race standings menu. I paid $20 for a professional video game but I feel like I got a game some kid made.

The changes made are more than worth $20. I don't know what games you've been playing lately, but overhauls on games doesn't come year after year(check the EA Sports games). Anyway, thats my 2 cents. I love the game.

Clay doesnt make the rosters....this game isnt licensed anyways, if you want to complain, go to www.baseball1.com that is where your free 100 year database comes from....and yes it is free.

I believe SM, might pay Sean lahman a portion of the proceeds.

when you pick the year when you start the game, and you pick 2004 rosters, it should be at the end of 2003 season and there are going to be mistakes, ootp uses the same database and people like scorey or Chris Nelson, they do it for free. SM isnt licensed by the P.A. and if they were you would be back to points instead of $$$

Scorey does this for free think of how long it would take to do all the stats everything can't be perfect. They will have patches. I'm sure Clay and the others have better things to do then just sit around updatig the game. I'm sure thye do it when they have time.
