It's a new e-mail address (if you remove the '--nospam--'). clay@sportsmogul.com is getting thousands of spam per day now, so it takes me a while to sort through it.

That's odd...all of a sudden I hear Vikings chanting.

We are making a batch of CD-ROMs, but it is difficult to get wide retail distribution -- most of these will be sold on our site, or through other online sites like Amazon.com.
You can also order the game by check. Go to http://www.sportsmogul.com/orders/orderbaseball2k5.htm and click 'Buy # Copies', then follow the order process entering your info.
At the end, click 'Pay By Check Or Money Order'. Mail your check for $19.95 to the following address:
Sports Mogul Inc.
3911 N. Francisco Ave.
Chicago, IL 60618
When we receive your check, we will send you a link to your download.
(The process for ordering the CD by check, when available, is the same -- except that there will be an additional shipping charge).

if we already downloaded the game, and we still have a the e-mail, can we get the game for cheaper since we already paid $20.00 bucks?

If I read that correctly, I believe your saying that you downloaded the game already. If you did, then you don't have to pay for it again. Just make sure you keep whatever confirmation E-mail was sent to you.
I did this with 2003, I had to reboot a couple times, so I lost it, but I was always able to go right back and download it again for no charge.

i think boomboom wants to have a back up so if something messes up he (or she pretty sure its a guy with the name bobby) can just reload it. That way you can delete it away from the mailbox

Clay,
Last year I was able to purchase your game at CompUSA. Is the CD-Rom for BM05 going to be available there this year? If so, when?

I want to be able to buy the actual CD version of the game encase something happens to my computer (i.e. it gets erased due to a crash and i lose everything). Is there any type of set date or a shot in the dark from anyone as to when the game will be available for CD purchase in the US? It would really suck to have to wait til the end of the summer for the CD version of this game. Thanks guys, c ya!

Actually, if you keep your e-mail confirmation, then you wont need the cd. Unless if you want to keep it just for collection. I would just like to have a master copy. An Official one:)
If your computer crashes, the e-mail shouldnt be saved on your computer but at the site, Hotmail, yahoo, in one of your in-boxes. I know that if you have a hotmail account and you dont log in for 30 days, all your e-mail will be erased.

What do you mean if I keep my e-mail confirmation that I never need the CD? Can I keep loading it up on ym computer if i were to, let's say, erase it from my computer and start over? My computer is famous for crashing and I want to be able to always have the game to load it up again since it always gets erased with everything else on my computer. Is it just better to wait for the CD version? Or is there a way to save the game to a CD? Thanks guys, GO PHILS!

umm....if you go to hotmail.com, or yahoo. Your memory is saved on line and not on your harddrive. I just reformated my hard drive, I went online, opened up my inbox, and made a copy.
If you have a Cd burner, most do, they are really cheap, do what Jeff said!

it just seems easier to wait for the actual CD version of the game to come out. Anyone know how long that'll be? Are we talking days, weeks, months? Anyone know about that? Thanks for your help on the questions of downloading the game though, I really appreciate it.
