I love these games but I am incredibly dissapointed to load up the new game and see so many players missing. Mark Teixera played all of last year not in the game. Miguel Cabrera missing. Jose Reyes missing. Joe mauer not to be seen. Bobby Crosby not there. Jose Cruz Jr. was traded two years ago but he is still with toronto in this game. Reed Johnson is there actual rightfielder but alas he is not even in the game. There are many errors like this. Ben Molina is Toronto's starting catcher. Ben Molina has never ever played for Toronto he is on Anaheim where do you come up with this stuff. This game was released well after the season started so there is no excuse for these errors. The rest of the game is great but whats the point of a new version if there are no new players added.

If you go to the Player Database thread, I posted a new 2004Rosters.csv file which corrects all the errors you mentioned, there was some problem where it was not importing players who made their debut in 2003, so I found a list of them on ESPN.com and added them to the database.

I understand your frustration, but Sports Mogul doesnt create the rosters.....they use a historical Database, www.baseball1.com, If Jose Cruz Jr. is on Toronto in the Game, then he is also in the database as Toronto.:) Baseball Mogul isn't Licensed by the P.A.

Attached is a new 2004Rosters.csv file.

This should fix the missing rookies (those who had playing time in 2003, but not before, such as Miguel Cabrera, Bobby Crosby, and Jody Gerut).

In some cases (e.g. Gerut and Cabrera) I think the ratings that Mogul gives them are pretty accurate. In other cases (e.g. Crosby) -- it still needs some tweaking.

To update your rosters, download this file, unzip it, and copy it over 'Input\2004Rosters.csv' (with the default installation, this will be C:\Program Files\Sports Mogul\Baseball 2005\Input\2004Rosters.csv).
