does anyone know of a program or way to view the universe file so i can edit it? Thanks!

do make rosters for 2k5, I would use the this thread,

it is basically the same as the 2004.cv... file. Missing some players, with others on wrong teams.

You will have to use 2k4, or 2k3(if it works) to make your rosters than import to 2k5
