Concept: Win the World Series with the Devil Rays in 3 years. I will use a roster that i will post later. Lobsteve has inspired me to take the Devil Rays to the World Series and win it all. I won't buy up the big players in fact I give myself a payroll limit of 63 million each year. I will play on the Hardest difficulty Mogul.
I will post the roster later but I added the roster I am posting the Universe though.

I only hope that my 'Rays wind up at 12-10 in a month.
Good to see another dynasty, though it is kinda eerie to have it run so parallel. *shrug*

April Showers May brings flowers although in may we didn't come out smelling good. We went 14-16 which now dropped us to 4th in the division 4.5 games in front of Baltimore. May 9th we beat the Angels 9-3 our highest scoring game and on May 27 we lost to the Minnesota Twins 18-3. Brazelton went 3.2 innings and gave up 8 runs all earned.
Detriot wins worst in May 7-20 record. Dodgers(9-18) and Diamond(10-19) backs tie for NL worst in May with a pitiful records .
What would May be without some Milestones.

In the Month of June alot of things happened. All my starting pitchers have losing records we went 11-16 in June putting us just 3 games out of last place and 16 games out of first place.

Worst NL in June:3 teams didn't win 10 games in June Brewers(8-17) the Expos(8-18) and the winner of the award Padres with a 6-20 record.
Rare Milestone: Rey Ordonez is hitting .316 and has a homer but i still hate you Ordonez. Bonds stole number 500(remember i'm using updated rosters in the year 2003) Clemens won number 300 and struck out his 4000th Rafael "Limp" Palmeiro hits number 500 and Kevin Appier strikes out number 2000.

July is a time of all-stars home runs and exciting games. July 10th and we are 39-47 on the season still 4th in the division. I wonder whos going to be the All-stars?Will anybody from the Devil Rays go?Will they Be used?
July 11th: Fred McGriff gets his milestone hitting his 2500th hit.
July 25: Robert Fick and Danny Baez are injuried. Fick is hurt 36 days and Daez 26. Jay Canizaro and Jay Tessmer are signed as free agents.
July 31st: I trade Mitch Muluskey and Pete LaFrost to Colorado for Veteran Catcher Charles Johnson. This was the biggest trade for the entire year. Our record is 47-56 last place in the division.
Worst in AL:Mariners and Twins tie this month each having a 9-17 record.
Worst In NL: The Brewers again win at 9-18 putting them at a season 43-59.

Alright it's been awhile since I continued this. I forgot for awhile that I was doing this I got tied up playing x-box live. Well August was an interesting month for my team. Lance Carter got himself hurt for 342 days. Fick's replacement continued to go on but couldn't do well enough to prove himself for next season. Rey Sanchez hit another homer and his AVG is now 285 (I knew 300 wouldn't last. I had a total of 31 injuries this month only Lance Carters torn Rotator Cuff was Serious and we also have a pathetic 6 wins this month. We are last in the Division.
Worst in AL:Devil Rays with a record of 6-22
Worst in NL: Padres 8-19 They try.
My Batter of the month: Huff nuff said.
My pitcher of the month: Dicky Gonzalez was called up from AAA to fill in for an Injuried Lance Carter in 7 games he has a 1.85 ERA 16.1 innings and 8 k's with 5 walks.
Honorable Mention: Paul Abbot moves to the Starting rotation to be my a third of my pitchers with a winning record.
Maybe September will hold great promise for my team. Maybe we will suck it up and get a 3rd or 4th round pick. A pitcher and then a second basemen. I forgot to mention Bret Boone and Gil Meche were traded to the Dodgers for a bunch of unknown rookies. Frank Thomas, Bernie Williams, Larry Walker, and John Olerud all got their 2000th hit this month. McGriff hit his 500th homerun. and Tom Glavine got win number 250.

Well September wasn't kind but at the same time it was. We went 10-17 bringing our season total to 63 wins and 99 losses. That is good enough for the second round draft pick. Cleveland was the worst team in all of baseball with a 61 and 101 record earning them the first round pick.
Worst in AL:Cleveland Indians
Worst in NL:Cincinnati Reds
Team MVP: Aubrey Huff .339 AVG 39 Homers 9 steals and 9 errors.

Red Sox Vs. Angels I predict Red Sox win 3-1
Athletics Vs. Twins. Though I am a Twins fan, A's 3-1

Phillies Rockies Phillies sweep 3-0.
