2004 Opening day rosters

Here is something I've been working on. Everyone with prior experience should be in here and I added a few rookies (Joe Mauer, Kaz Matsui and others). In the .dat file I have the opening day starting lineups except I put in guys on the DL (Nomar) I didn't do any salaries or ratings so those won't be right...

Here is the csv file if anyone is interested. (opening day rosters mlb + AAA as long as they are in the lahman database)


Edit: I uploaded a new file at 5:03 est on 6/7 (fixed some free agents)

Once you've started with your new universe.dat file, What do you do with the zipped csv folder you've created. Thanks for any help you can give me.

If you use the universe file you don't need the csv file. But if you want to start a new 2004 season put the csv file in your input folder but you will lose guys like joe mauer...

Thanks. What I think I'm going to do is piece together a bit from a few roster updates and corrections from different people and come up with one comprehensive league that is as accurate as possible. It shouldn't be too difficult because you guys have pretty much done most of it and done it well. Some have been trying to get the rosters right( with new rookies), some the stats, and some the contract length and salaries. I'll see if I can put it all together ASAP.

Hey, some rosters appear to be a bit incomplete. The Braves roster, for example, doesn't include rookie Adam LaRoche or set-up man Chris Reitsma. There are errors like that on several rosters, and I've fixed them myself, but I just wanted to give you a heads-up

The file I made has Chris Reitsma in there but since LaRoche is not in the lahman database (no previous major league expierence) he can't be in the game unless he is made. I made a few guys like joe mauer and kaz matsui but didn't get around to them all...
