How come the stars rarely appear on the forums anymore?

I was wondering how come the stars that appeared on the small baseballs beside each forum area that signified new posts hardly show up now? You actually have to go into the area to see if there's anything new. They were appearing all the time for the first few weeks of the game's release. I found those very helpfull and time saving.

when there is a new thread, it used to show up as Stars! Now if you go in there, the lastest post isnt the one that is on the link above. Something from earlier?!!!

I had less then 300 post all the way till April of 2004 :)
Nearly two years and 300 posts!

I think 6 months ago, I had 6k more post then ohms and Houston, if I kept my posting up, I would be at 20k by now...plus all those threads that got deleted...Mikey would be at 22-23k right now.

Dabs will still be at 14k, but his other account, "dabs" has around 3k in post. So it puts him at 17k. :)
