how about implementing multi-team trades?
and
i mention this in an earlier post,
how about having a rookie draft? instead of having rookies automatically place on our teams, this would be better for the small market teams who can't generate enough revenue for a good farm system or sign any good free agents
just a thought...

In the "Auto-Draft" that occurs, teams with weaker records do indeed get better picks.
Nevertheless, I totally understand your request (shared by many) to have more control over the process.

Baseball Mogul (both Online, and CD-ROM) does simulate a player draft each off-season. This means that a number of new young players (about 3-6, depeing on your Farm System expense) will appear on your AAA rosters.
This means you'll be getting young talent each season, and you can trade it away for any veterans you need.
What this draft DOESN'T do is let you actually pick which young players get drafted to your team. The process of having every team take turns picking from a long list of minor league players (or submitting draft preference lists) is a complex one and we haven't yet implemented this. But there is great demand for it so it will be coming.

How do I get a copy of this game in the cd-rom form. I think it is really cool. I don't have a credit card, so I can't order it online, but I wonder if it's available in stores yet. If so, please let me know. Thanks

We're still working on getting retail distribution.
Until then, you can order online and pay by credit card OR check OR money order.

After playing a few seasons with different teams, I've recognized big spenders like the Yankees that spend 65 points on their farm system and scouting are the only ones who get good A-rated prospects.
