I'm strongly considering creating a historical league (starting ca. 1950) open to other players. I would be commish and prob. control a team too (yes, i see the potential for conflict, but i'm ethical). I'm planning on getting 2K5 soon and would then prepare the roster and teams, so wouldn't start til mid-August at the earliest.
The whole point of this is to see if enough people are interested. My initial thought would be to make it for that 2k5 itself wouldn't be a prereq, although having it would allow you to examine certain things in greater detail, and to prob. sim a week per week (which is slow, i know... it might speed up depending on my schedule), and i would customize the imports from lahman to make it all pretty sweet. Back to the original point, since that would be alot of work, if they'rs not enough interest, i prob. wouldnt do it. Hence, the poll. No commitments yet, just first impression. Once i'm up and running, I would put stuff on-line so ya'll could check it out and we could get solid.
