Try having a look for ADVENTURE GAME SUDIO or RPG MAKER XP, these programs are free to use and develop your own games with.

Make sure you have a good idea on the key gameplay ideas you want to use and dont be distracted by the likes of the story, graphics and sound for your first attempt. The key is to get used to using C++ type language basics, and build the game with a little undersanding of them.

Trying to make a game and not being willing to learn a programming language, is like an Aircraft Pilot who refuses to Manually steer.
