New account question

i am trying to help my friend get a new account and he signed up but the confirmation e-mail hasnt come yet and its been days. if i remember right when i signed up my confirmation came instantly. anyone know what the problem is??

tell them to try to use a yahoo or hotmail account. Apparently it doesn't work with some ISPs.
