expeneses are they pro-rated or lump? is their effectivness measured against the average for the year or is it whatever the expense is set at at a trigger period.

Second What does the scouting do for me?

What exactly does having a high farm system do for me, and do i need to have money devoted there all year or just during the off season?

Similar question for Medical, do i need to have it allocated there all season or only during the season when my players are playing.

What do mogul points do for you.

and finally what in the **** is the sorting style that auto sort sorts by?

Hi,
Expenses are pro-rated- they take the average rank of your team in each category for the past year. This is so people cannot crank up their scouting to 999 for one sim so they can check the ratings and make a blockbluster trade.

Scouting affects the letter grades and summary for each player in their scouting reports. The better your scouts are, the more accurate the reports will be.

Having a high farm system does two things:
a) Your new rookies each year will be of a higher quality. A team ranked first might get mostly B prospects with a few A's, while a team ranked 27th might get mostly C's and D's. Again, this takes the average of an entire year, so it needs to be at the same level for the entire year to be effective.
b) A better farm system will drastically increase improvement in the minor leagues, so if you draft a player with C contact, they might improve to B contact after a season or two if you have a good farm system.

Again, I would keep it at the same level during the offseason as during the season, because it won't cost you anything in the offseason, and it certainly can't hurt.

Mogul points are the system in which players are ranked by. They are based on which tier your team is in, so a big market like the Yankees would gain less mogul points for winning the world series than a small market, like Milwaukee.

The autosort is based on the Computer AI. It is usually more effective to manually set your lineup than to let the AI do it.
