Pitcher Batting Statistics

Why arent these displayed for their player cards?

I know its not very important but if they track their fielding stats then you might as well track their pitching stats.

I agree, some pitchers are decent batters. Such as LIvan Hernandez and Orel Hershizer.

I know it's not on the player's card but you can get their batting stats via the Roster Screen.

I think the player card is a design issue. Hitters and pitchers have the same number of tabs with position players obviously not having any pitching stats and no need for an extra tab. To add an extra tab only for pitchers would be a headache from a programming standpoint.
