i just joined a new league as the a's, but giambi is already on the yankees who are human owned, i dont know how they got him since we arent allowed to make trades till the season starts tomorrow, if he is just on there because of up to date rosters, why is jermaine dye still on the royals and not my team?

My guess would be that the commissioner used his powers to move Giambi to the Yankees. The commissioner can move anyone to any team, so this is probably what happened.

We did not update the rosters or anything, so it probably was the commish.
