I have come up with a new league called Mogul Wars. Check out the rules and game play options and see if this league is for you.
League Rules:
Play with integrity.
Computer trading is turned off.
Any owner can call a vote if he thinks a player is cheating.
I will follow the results of the vote to banish or let a player stay in the league.
Trash talking is mandatory. You don’t have to insult other teams, just talk about your own team at least every three days.
Let me know if you are going to be gone for more then 5 days.
If you do not login or fail to post ANYTHING on the boards for 5 days you will be banished.
Mogul Wars rewards personality. If you are quiet, withdrawn and inactive on the boards this league is not for you.
Be creative and have fun.
Game Play Rules:
Each team will have 3 “steal n’ snipe” plays – This means you can take 1 player from 3 teams once a year. You post who you want to steal in the forum and I put that player on your team. However the other team can use one of their snipes and get them back from you after you have taken them from his team. You CANNOT steal a player twice from the same team. YOU HAVE TO USE THIS OPTION NO LATER THEN JUNE 1.
Protected Players – You can have 2 protected players that CANNOT be stolen from your team. Post your players on the board.
Pimp a player – Put your player up against someone else’s for cash or contracts. You can pimp in three offensive and pitching categories. OFFENSIVE: HR’s, RBI’s or SB per sim month. PITCHING: WINS, K’s and OBA per month. You decide how much you want to wager and or if you want to put up their contract. If you lose a contract bet, then you lose the player.
Bet on your team – Think your team is going to win the division, then make a friendly bet against your division opponent. Post bets on the board.
Random Events. Every month I will randomly pick a good and bad event to happen to one team in each League, American and National. This can be anything from, increased revenue due to you hosting the ALL-STAR game to a piece of concrete falling down and striking a little old lady, causing you to lose money. You never know what is going to happen.
