Hey everybody!

I am going to try a new idea. I havent ever seen somebody post about there BMO league before. For those who dont know, BMO stands for baseball mogul online. Which is the best part of the game.

The league I am doing this for is the Cascade League, and here are the forums!

http://forum.sportsmogul.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=1877

My Goals

*Stay in out of the Red-
*Field a winning team every year, .500 or better.
*Win the world series by year 3.

I will post my Lineups, scouting reports soon....staytuned!

Here are my finances-

Farm System- 19million rank(1)
Scouting- 18million Rank (1)
Medical- 19millio rank (1)
Player Salaries- Later Post-
Ticket Prices- +(20%) sorry no ticket prices in BMO.
This is more than the Devil Rays total expenses, SORRY Michaelg123:p

Reasons-
Farm System-"the reason why we have Farm system so high is so that we can develop some great young prospects, Even thou Scouting is the most important, we still must pump money into this. Mostly paying our great coaches, and getting better ones in here will only help our young guns have a better Career. But if need be, this is the first we cut.

Scouting- "last week we just hired a new Scouting Directer (rotochamp2) and hope we can have the most accuate scouting possible. It will be easy to trade will low market because of this, We will see the true value of each player."

Medical- "Led my Dr. Clay, we will compete this year, and must have the best doctors available so that we will be injury free for the whole year. Also the time hired many Aerobic Instructors and Tae Chi Experts to help with the team. We must find our center of Gravity first, to WIN GAMES."

Ticket prices: "we are in the largest market in all of Sports, We do have to compete with Anaheim for the limelight, but that will be no problem, We feel that our prices verses the economy of the OC area, will be in line, As of right now we are projecting that our prices will be aroun +20% verses the league average."

Project Revenue: $170,368,652
Total Expenses : $155,008,000

Hopefully we can make some money to get back into this!

Scouting-
these are from our scouting Director notes.
Lineup

#1- Dave Roberts- LF-
Dave Robers at 31, still has great speed, can still hit for contact, Some as a leadoff hitter thou I am worried, His obp should be higher, He range and fielding in CF are great but dont make up for his lousy arm. Health might get the better of him. At 31 he can still produce for this team. He will probably be shifted to LF.
Project stats: .262 50sb, 5 homeruns, 120 runs scored.

#2- Milton Bradley-OF
THis kid is great, very cocky but this spring has really tried to be the best teammate. He has an excellent arm, range, Speed is above average. he is only 25 so i expect him to still develop. He will be a great addition to this team. He will be the starting CF.
Projected stats: .280 20hrs, 120rbi's.

#3- Olmedo Saenz-1b
This guy has great power, he is a lousy 1b on the field and belongs in the AL as a DH. He brings a thread of power each time he comes up. Honestly I dont think this is the right place for him in the lineup. HE clearly isnt the best hitter.
Projected Stats: .270 18 hrs, 100rbis

#4- Shawn Green- RF
Shawn Green could have been a future HOF if he had stayed in Toronto, but his power numbers have fallen, and he just doesnt look confirtable at the plate, last year his average was around the same, He hit only 19 homeruns with 49 doubles. He can still hit the ball, and still has gab power, he just needs to lift the ball more. This year he could hit 50 homeruns, or 20...but either way, it will have an effect on his doubles. His batting average will stay in line. He is only an average Fielder in RF, but his bat should put him near the top.
Projected Stats: .288 35hrs 120rbis. 39db.

#5-Paul Lo Duca - C
With Hundley right behind him, Paul Lo Duca knows he must perform. He has great contact, and might move the the 3 hole, He has goldglove defense with a cannon for an arm. Expect him to Produce at the plate and in the field, He will be the Team leader, Captain.
Projected Stats: .288 15homers, 90 rbis

#6-Adrian Beltre 3b
This is the future of the LA dodgers, He will do just fine this year but will not impress anybody for a couple of more years. But for LA to Compete he must perform. He has performed in the past, He is rated just an average 3b with a huge upside to him.
Projected Stats: .250 30hr, 88ribis

#7- Alex Cora-2b
Unlike Beltre, Cora is just an average player with no upside. He is above average defensively but one of the worst 2b in the league for production, Expect the team to upgrade and trade him
projected stats: .230 4homruns 30rbitts

#8-Cesar Izturis- SS
just 24, this guy may develop if felt not rushed, He has an excellent swing and just needs to get the bat on the ball, one of the intangables he has is his superb defense which will help the no hit wonder Dodgers to the world series.
Projected stats: .275 1 homerun Goldglove defense.

Starters

#1- Hideo Nomo
This guy is now 35 years old, but got his game back last year. He was always good in Dodger Blue, now he is back! He will Anchor this team the next few years!!!
Predicted Stats: 16-10 3.25 ERA 185K

#2- Odalis Perez
Just 26 years old, Odalis is becoming one of the top players in the League. He has great Movement and Control, he will be one of the top Pitchers in the League for a while. Odalis has good defense and that will never hurt him. To throw Caution in the wind, Perez may get hurt....and doesnt have the best offseason program.
Predicted Stats: 17-11 4.00 ERA

#3 Jeff Weaver
Jeff Weaver has a dominate pitcher in his years in Detriot after being traded to New York, he could never find his spot on the team. People Eventually Believed he was washed up. He is only 27 years old, And will have a decent year in Dodger Town.
Predicted Stats: 10-11 4.85 ERA

#4 Kazuhisa Ishii
Ishii, is learning a lot from Nomo, He is expected to become a top tier pitcher within the next few years, He was decent at times last year, he is very durable. One thing he does need to learn, he needs to play better defense.
Predicted stats: 12-5 3.55 ERA

#5- Wilson Alvarez
This pitcher was at one time on of the Top tier pitchers, After getting hurt in 1999, he hasnt been the same. He is an Aging Player who will show moments of brillants and moments where he will explode.
Predicted Stats: 8-8 20 starts 5.00 era

Orange County Journal May 25, 2004

Sports Notes:

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Florida Marlins are having on going diccussions about 2b Luis Castillo. They have reportly offered a bunch of cash, and a few players including Jamie Moyer and Antonio Perez, No say when or if a deal has been struck, but the cash is reported in the 10-20million dollar range. Something Florida would want.

Miami Herald.

Trade talks between the Florida marlins and the LA dodgers totally broke down late last night. Florida wasnt really in the market to shop Luis Castillo, and LA didnt have the right pieces to do this.
