Even on the lower difficulty settings, it seems the budgets and player expenses are REALLY off.

Take my Red Sox, for example. Anywhere from $5 to 20 million in debt due to their roster? Come on here! The Red Sox spend almost as much as the Yankees because the team MAKES a lot of money.

So it leaves me with two hard choices -- play the 2004 year and enjoy a great year and then have the roster devasted after getting into debt by more then $20 million, or make some hard cuts and destroy the roser and suffer some awfull years.

Neither option is really realistic. And it's too bad, because besides that this game is great!

How have other players delt with this mess?

Go here --> cities.txt thread (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=54609&highlight=Cities.txt)
and download the Cities.txt file and follow the instructions on how to import the new city data. Afterwards, in Baseball Mogul go to the League Editor and adjust League Revenue and Salary Demands until you get desired results.

Is'nt that cheating?

And what would be the 'results' that I want to be correct? It's not like I know how much the team's actuall payrolls and income is.....

Is'nt that cheating? Not really. Everyone has their own preferences toward some of the game's aspects; the sliders and text files are so each one of us can find a balance which is acceptable to ourselves.
