I think that this may have been brought up before, but I will re-visit it. There is a lot of debate about what constitutes a star player and what doesn't. Espcially when you get into the 2010 and later area's of a league. We know that a star will effect attendance, but how much and which players do and don't. In real life more than just #'s effect wheather a player help attendance or not (i.e. Carl Everett/Gary Sheffield). I doubt though that this game takes attitude into account.

I would love to be able to have a ranking system that would make it easier to see how fans react to a certain player......something like this.

#1 Fan Favorite
#2 Adorded
#3 Community Leader
#4 Well Liked
#5 Unknown

Even if #1 is the only one that effects attendance, this way we would know the stages that a player is at and if he has the potential of reaching #1.

I would love some feadback on this as well as the how likely this would be able to be put into place. It may not even be something that can be done, but I would LOVE to see it. Thanks a whole lot.

Great Idea. The only way I could see this being implemented would be if it was directly based on stats. I think it would be more effective to create a Personality scouting field (someone like Al Leiter would have an A, somelike like Rocker an F). But this is totally arbitrary (sp?) and would take a lot of work.
