All men reading this just answer yes or no

Would you die to protect your country and assure youfamily, loved ones, wife, kids that they would be safe in the future.

My answer is simple. Yes! in a second. I love this country. I am 22 and not going to go sign up to be in the military, but if my country needed me and i was drafted i would willin go and serve my duty. If you answer no to this question not only are you not a man but your not an american and i would appriciate it if you would get the **** out of my coutnry!

My best friend iwho i grew up withi s 20 and in the marines in iraq now. he joined up after the war started. he is turnning 21 in 2 days. I pray for him and support him in all our troops.

Kingmob if you see a vetern from WWII you should look them in the eye and thank them, because if it wasn't for them you might be controlled by a guy like saddam. Kingmob think if you were an iraqi and had to fear anyday saddam could just kill you.

Saddam had weapons in 1998. He doesnt have them anymore.

I would gladly sign up and serve to defend innocent life and freedom for ALL people not just my family....

BUT....I think our money for defense would be better spent on PREPARING us for a war....Keeping our troops properly trained and in constant awareness that we have to be ready to go to war at ANY moment....Not just going to war for the **** of it...like we are at the moment...And if we are provoked....read it again....PROVOKED....into going to war....It would be a nice thought to know that we have rightly prepared ourselves for that moment....With the wealth this country has we have no excuse for not being 100% prepared and trained to win any war....BUT there again...We must not go to war unless there is an immediate threat to the security of country....I think it is pretty clear at this moment that Saddam posed no serious threat to our part of the world...If he had in fact announced that he was ready to pick a fight with us...and was prepared to use his WMD's....(wether he had them or not)....and was directly threatening our country then we would have had a case for going to war...

There's absolutley no reason that 1000 of our young men and women have died with there not being a threat to our country.

I would also gladly look any one of our current or past veterans of the armed forces and thank them for their service and their bravery....They do not make the decisions to go to war....but they did volunteer to serve with the possiblility of having to do so...and in my opinion that makes all of them very honorable and brave people...They do a job that not many of us would want to do...And for this reason I am very grateful that I live in this country....

But we must also face the facts...Our politicians in Washington have a different agenda than "we the people"....They are mostly, if not all, slaves to special interest groups and will do whatever they must to preserve their careers...

Every legislator that voted for the USA PATRIOT act should be removed from office...but...do we have the power to do so....Not anymore...we may think we do...by casting our precious votes on Nov. 2nd...but in fact....our own votes that we hold so dear really do not count in these times...It's really a shame...but it is in fact the TRUTH.

Do we still live in the GREATEST country in the world?...You bet we do!!!....Do I want to leave?...**** NO!!!....Are we headed in the right direction?....That would be a resounding NO!!!

I have to disagree with Mob on the issue of mental health drugs...although I think they are severely over-prescribed they are a very useful tool in aiding people with such disorders as GAD...OCD...PTSD...severe anxiety...and other disorders...but I do not think they should give them out to children as much as they do....geez...let kids be kids!.....But there are many legitimate mental health disorders that need to be treated with medication.

Chewing gum has helped me pay attention enough as AdderallXR did for me when I took it 2 years ago. Also, Adderall XR caused my heart rate to be ~160 for the entire day for the first few days.

yeah there are conditions and instance where people are pyshotic.....but give me a break.......they are going to do mental health screenings on everybody and prescribe pysch drugs to people that dont need them......this is being pushed by the big drug manufactures....add and all these other supposed conditions are all subjective diagnosis's ......whats gonna happen when its considered a mental illness to think that the govt. is evil?....its the soviet model of mental health

I was talking to a girl at school the other day, and she was not taking paxil anymore, and she told me that she was dizzy, had blurred vision, and when she walked it felt like pins were on the feet.
