Scorey, I would love to help you and Roto by finding photos for your DB, but I am kind of a beginner at this...But if your still interested, I will help you guys, but there is probably someone else who could do the job better.

I'll do it.
I'm very very good with image editing, this would only take a little while...

I have a folder with 77 megabytes worth of photos....I can divide it up into smaller sections and send them to you if you want to do the work....That would be awesome....email me at cubsfanscorey@insightbb.com if you want to do it....Thanks

I've culled pix from the MLB website (http://www.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/searchPlayerSearchServlet?conference=ML&action=searchbyposition&position=) in the past. Ones they don't have can probably be found in eBay (http://sports-cards.ebay.com/_W0QQfromZR12) or with a Google image search (http://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=). That's probably easier than trying to send your 77Megs.

Yes, I have tried that in the past. The problem I always had is that the pictures on Ebay or Google are usually smaller then what is needed, so when you enlarge it to 160 by 200, they have a big goofy nose. So I would rather trust the 77 mb of photos. If you guys need any help with those, count me in.

I've never really had that problem, only about .1% of my pix looked that terrible when enlarged. What program have you been using to resize?

What would be the best program to use Jeff?

I'm not familliar with everything out there but I mainly use Photoshop 5.0 LE, I think it came bundled with a HP printer. All of my BBM pix were initially edited in that program and I think only three out of some 3300 images were too small to be enlarged properly. Those I just put a frame around.

I recently finished editing about 3180 of those pix for OOTP, I used Paint Shop Pro for that work because it's better at cleaning up images. I think PSP 7 is better than PSP 8; I discovered that the newer version tends to do weird things when resizing. I wonder if they've fixed that problem in version 9.

Given that your 77 Megs were taken from OOTP, which uses 90×135, liveandletdie might encounter the same Jimmy Durante (http://www.redhotjazz.com/JimmyDurante.jpg) effect when enlarging.

just so you all know, I have been working tirelessly on these pictures and am hoping to produce something within the next week or two. I just want to be a part of this project, and this is my thank you for scorey, roto, goyanks, and everyone else who put the littlest piece into this project.

I appreciate it, liveandletdie, but obviously the bulk of the credit goes to Scorey and Rotochamp, who did almost everything. I just did a little piece.
