Trend's Internet security, Norton has one too. For free the yahoo toolbar has a pretty good one, and Lavasoft has a new ad-aware. It's called SE Personal and that's a freebie too.

Hey Mob that program worked it cleared out the orange words...but If I don't have a program I have called "Systweak Ad & Pop-up Blocker" running my Internet Explorer will not work...Just goes to the Web Page not available...If I turn on the program the browser works...So I still must have something on my computer???

you might have something still on your computer, many adware, freeware, and spyware programs carry Virus too, you might want to check out Norton internet Secruity or MacAfee Internet secruity...there are some free ones too, check out in google.

The address I get when I have the ad/spy blocking programs off is
http://www.404ads.net:800/redirect.php?q=
There's a little more on the end but that's the start of it...It wont go to my home page and seems to be trying to redirect me to somewhere???....I tried to download the trialware of Norton Internet security but the links do not work...probably because of the ad/spy blocking software running???
Anyone have a clue?

i used this a long time ago, trensmicro, my computer manufacture told me to go to this site, since i had a virus.
works great.....but having Norton, Macafee, or any virus and firewall protection is the way to go, you should be safe.

So everytime you try to change your homepage it goes back to the same site everytime?
Ive helped some people with this before... You may need to manually delete some things out of your registry. If your still having problems with it let me know

I've had Spybot Search & Destroy and it never seemed to work too well for me...didn't get everything like this Ad-Aware SE program does...I ended up doing a master restore on my comp and quickly downloaded all the necessary protection that I need (hopefully)....:)

careful if you use SQL Desktop edition. It will stop working with service pack 2.
