SO....does this mean there will be a 1 game playoff between SF and Chicago?....I'm not sure how this works...but that's my prediction for the season wrap-up!

If there is a 1 game playoff the Cubs have the clear advantage as they have Mark Prior at their disposal to pitch the playoff!

Sorry friend, doesn't look like the Cubbies are getting in. On talk radio today, they said that Nomar was the Red Sox curse. So funny...I really wanted a Cubs-Sox series so they can shut up with all the dumb talk of a curse. I think I've got a new Favorite pitcher...LOVE watching Prior pitch. Like watching a pitching clinic. Haven't been this excited about a pitcher since Nolan Ryan. Well, looks like I have to put all my eggs in the Sox's basket (again) and pray for the best.

OK so there is 2 games to be played....Astros and Giants need to lose both their games and the Cubs need to win both of their games...they have Zamrano and Maddux going to the mound today and tomorrow...their is still a small gimmer of hope!!!...That's the way we Cubs fans are...if there's any mathematical chance of them making it then we hold out hope!!!

The Cubbies need LA's Edwin Jackson and Colorados Shawn Estes at their absolute BEST today!

Andre Dawson...former Sox. I saw him put one into the monster. Saw Jack Clark...might have been the same game...put one out too. I get a kick at watching the old great players DHing somewhere.
