She got shot in the eye with a paintball type object filled with pepper spray.

It was 1:30 in the morning, and there was an estimated 80,000 people on the streets of boston. I don't think that the use of force was justified, but I understand why they were trying to break up the crowds.

Willie, you from the area, did you read the Herald? There was an estimated 3,000 people who surrounded 6 policeman. One threw a bottle at one of the horses and spooked him. IT WAS JUSTIFIED. You really hate to have anyone hurt there, but I would love to see what anyone would do under the same conditions. The thing that I disagree with was they posted the pictures of her on the ground with blood coming from her eye, and nose. The was not called for. Can you imagine the family having to see that?

the real reason this is happening is so when protests really get out of control like o when the banks run and no one can use an atm and armed gangs are running amok looking for new markets since no one will have money to buy drugs.....then the cops will start machine gunning crowds......the spin of the boston pd is that this girl was collateral damage.....and that we should really all pray for the poor police man that has a scraped knee and that now we need collective punishment of closing all bars and banning liquor sales because someone might riot......the boston pd cant let the sheeple under there control run amok can they?

What are they supposed to do? Just sit back and let people riot. And let people throw stuff at them. And let people start cars on fire. And let people loot. Sounds like anarchy to me. You tell me how they could have handled that better.

They didnt use it against HER specifically. Come on, never in their wildest dreams did they expect someone to die from that. Thats just common sense. You say the police is getting militarized. King There was a picture in the boston globe the next morning of an SUV being tipped over.

There were other pictures on the news of cars that were tipped over and lit on fire. There were 80,000 drunk idiots rioting in Boston, last night after the game they tried to climb the green monster.

from what i understand the people didnt start going off till the cops started clearing the street.....it was overkill and i think the cops provoked it
