I honestly think that the perfect Government is only as good as the people, THe mexican government is crooked, yet on paper is should be good right??
the best government is a Demcracy with rights for each indivual, basically no ammendments against race, creed, sexual orientation...ect....freedom for all....kind of the way the USA use to be like.....
You still need a strong central government.....with the power with the people. You need socialist ideals, but not to social.....like the government providing for Roads, Health Care, welfare.....but at the same time, there is no limit with the economy, except in cases of a monopoly.....there needs to be a competitive economy.....Oh yes, the People will pay for everything with taxes....and there is social secruity......
This government is what the US could be......

The US is actually going into a different direction, you cant peacefully assemble anymore, you dont have rights to guns, you still need gun control, and if you say something like I am going to blow up a building you get arrested....even if you are joking.
This country needs a change, we dont need moral values in our government only in our homes.....If people dont believe in abortion, then teach there kids it is a sin, if people think homosexuality is wrong, then teach your kids that they shouldnt do it....it is not moral...but respect people who are. dont discrimniate against a group of people, that is not the governments job, THe governments job is to make sure everybody is treated equally...that is the social responsibity of a Government.... This Country was founded on beliefs of freedom of all.....and we have worked towards this, untill this president. Honestly we need Bush right now, but when BUsh is out of office, we need a change, a president more focused on Social issues, demestic issues.....We need to make the US the perfect government it has been for 200 years, it will happen.

the only thing i disagree w/ you bob is on the economy... i don't think a competitive economy is necessary. in an ideal world, communism could work.... but since this is not an ideal world, i may as well agree w/ everything you say. economic reform can only work if the people are ready for it- but capitalism has robbed us of any chance that this can happen.

part of the US, is a saying,
I believe JOhn Locke said something simular to this, without the last part but with Property.
You are intitled to Life, Liberty and the persuit of Happiness, to have happiness you need a competive Economy. If you dont have this, inivation wont happen, prices will happen, and the quality of certain products wont get better because there isnt something better out there...I do agree thou, We need to keep Jobs here instead of them shipped to China, kids working in sweat shops.
I believe that any company that does business in the United States of America, must live and abide by rules that the US has, even for the workers who are not employeed in the US. SO that min. wage jobs are not $5 dollars a day, but an hour.

The ideal government would tax everyone one time. Income tax at graduated levels for personal income with no deductions or loopholes, and a flat tax of 25% for all the corporations and small businesses. After that taxing, there would be nothing else to be taxed.
American industry would be protected by tarrifs making all foreign products the same cost as an American product. Union power would return to the same level it had in the 1950's, and people would be able to get a living wage.
There would be universal healthcare for everyone in the country, leading to massive decreases in the costs for businesses and small businesses, wishing to provide healthcare for their workers.
The enviroment, and personal life would be rightfully protected, with basicly this sentence: As long as the actions on the land are not harming anyone else or the surrounding enviroment, it is perfectly legal to do anything.
That law would protect the people from companies polluting groundwater, but leave people to be free to do whatever they want on their land. The exception would obviously be construction of buildings which would still have to follow the same regulations.

I would love to see just a flat tax, no werid or dumb tax laws. I would love to see income tax of 25%, 5% would be for your own Social Secruity, 10% would be for the nationwide Medical benefits to (ALL CITIZENS) 10% would be for the general Fund!

So Id teach my kids to avoid this stuff at home. Then they go to school and their teachers tell them its ok to be gay and that marriage is between anyone and anything. "Its ok to marry your dog Billie. If that makes you happy then go ahead. Oh you want three wives, go ahead!"
Then they learn the theory of evolution in science class right after I tell them about the creation theory.
Then they find out they cant pray in class, even though the same teacher is telling them they should be free to do whatever they want. Oh but not praying, because that crosses the seperation of church and state line! Can you imagine the confusion?
TJ and George Washington would be rolling over in their graves if they knew their ideas were being as misrepresented as they are today. Im not anti gay, not in the least. Im not anti athiest either. However, BOTH theories of evolution should be taught in schools. And marriage should be left the way it has been for HUNDREDS of years. What is wrong with civil unions? Why do gays have to trample all over something as sacred to religious people as marriage. It just seems like its a slap in the face and a serious F U attitude towards people with religious values (which makes up nearly 70 percent of this country).
I dont mean to sound like an ***, but it kinda sucks when everywhere I turn I have to shelter my kids from something because the rest of the world doesnt give a **** while they do whatever the **** they want. I have to stand there as my kid messes with his radio so I can avoid him turning to Howard Stern, or I have pay attention to what he watches to make sure he doesnt flip on MTV and see some Eminem video telling him its ok to hate the govt, rape his ex girlfriend, and shoot some guy in a drive by. This country wasnt like it is today 50 years ago. Its gotten more liberal, and kids are paying for it. Thats why moral vaules are a BIG issue with those 52 percent that voted Bush. (Yes 52, USATODAY released an article today saying the final popular vote tally was 52 to 47 in favor of Bush)

on the issue of school, if you dont like what is taught, then take them out, send them to a private catholic school. Government school should not have anything to do with Religion. Separation of Church and state.... that was the meaning behind this.....
About gay marriages, what is wrong with two people who love each other, and just wanted to be treated equally, shouldnt it go the other way, If a church marries a couple, Hedro, or Homo, it should be a marriage, if the government marries you..by a judge, it should be a civil union....
Married people get tax breaks, and that discrimates against Gay America. If President Bush makes it an ammendment for marriage, he will be the first president ever to take rights away from a selected group of people.....
A flat tax is a hardcore conservative view yes. Listen, Im not a pro rich guy type conservative. But I do find it funny however that you guys talk about how everyone should be free to do as they please, yet you want to take more money from the rich because well, theyre rich and they can afford it. To you its ok to just let the govt dip into their pockets when they please. Hows that for freedom? Shouldnt EVERYONE be able to keep more of what they earn, regardless of how much they make? Bush slashed taxes for EVERYONE, but people cry because it helps the rich??????????

back to the issue of Government,
I would love to see a State"nation" beable to have liberty of all, I would love to have a bill of rights, an updated version for todays world. Like the 2nd ammendment, You have a right to bear arms, should be updated to say, You have a right to bear arms if you have not been convicted of a crime and have a gun licence....for example.
Also, The consitution should be held to every extent, and spelled out in plain english, you dont need supreme court justices that need to interpret the Consitution, they should already be an expert in it, and should know what each law means, no matter if they are libral or consertitive........

Oh right, thats fair. So because everyone wants to keep their freedom, I should be forced to pay out the *** by sending my kids to private school? Real fair. How can you say people should be free to do as they please and then tell a kid he cant pray in class because it violates seperation of church and state? Thats a total contradiction.
On your gay marriage comment: Because the church doesnt believe in homesexuality! Marriage is bond between two people and God. What is wrong with civil unions? They can have a ceremony, they get benefits, whatever they need. The only thing they dont get is the actual term marriage. BIG DEAL? Its a compromise and you dont have to piss off 70 percent of America.

As we all know, many americans find Marriage one of the most sacred things, so why is there so much devorse? and this is okay.....according to the bible, you can only marry once.
Hey, I agree with you on divorce. But allowing gays to marry is completely different. Again I ask, what is wrong with a civil union compromise? CU's with the same benefits as married people, yet they just dont get an actual marriage?

this is what I purpose....
All marriages married in church, cinagog(pardon my spelling) temple, married by some sort of preist of a certain Religion can be called a Married couple, So if Christians decide that Gay Marriages will be allowed, and the church will allow it, in that said church of some kind, they will be considered Married. But Legally it will be concidered a Civil Union.
So if 2 gay couples have a civil union in a courthouse, then that is what it is, civil union, if a hedrocouple get married in a courthouse, then it would also be a civil union.....
If a couple is married in a church, then it would be concidered Married, but legally still be concidered a civil Union........I sorry to drag this out.....even thou at one time, I didnt care about this issue.....but now i do....

That makes a little more sense yeah. Though there are a few, most churches wouldnt marry a gay couple. As long as the govt doesnt force them to do so of course. But even the ones that do allow it, theyd only be considered fringe churches to the other ones and the marriage would still be only seen as a civil union in the eyes of the them and the govt. Many religious leaders may still not agree with that proposal, but I personally could accept it.

Ive thought about that, I really have. Its tough for me right now though because my wife and I are both in school full time. Also, Ive known home schooled kids in the past, and they all seemed to be socially inept. Id have to find a way to get them exposure to other kids and the public so they can at least function on their own when they get out in the real world. Basically, I cant just train a bunch of momma's boys that cant do **** outside of our presence. :)
dont think that.....if you taught your kids the right way of thinking for themselves and make them read....they will be much better off than the morons the school system cranks out......did you know that UNESCO is back in the schools teaching your children to hate god and to be a good little global citizen of the new world....

The "mission statement" of my school is
"[school name] will provide an inclusive and nuturing enviroment where students will practice respect and prepare for lifelong participation in a global
society'
I made this an issue, and the tards told me "Its eventually going to happen. Just give up."

The only way we can have this happen is by voting for the facist parties, which would have unwanted side effects.

Send your kids to public schools, stay involved with them. Thats what my parents did, and I treat people with respect. You may not agree with my poltically, but I'm very responsible, even though I'm a liberal.
****, I even use punctuation when I use Instant Messanger.
I dont deny that at all. I already have noticed that your awake to the worthless **** like MTV and care about what happens in this country unlike the rest of the todays youth.

Problem with this is it goes against alot of your current views. The 1950's were full of racial hatred, and theres no way in **** theyd ever allow abortions. Those are just two things in many.

I know its Christian fiction (and that may bother some of you), but read the Left Behind series by Jerry Jenkins. All of this stuff happens in those books. One world government, rise of the antichrist, Armageddon.... pretty interesting books. In those books antichrist comes from Romania and cons his way into becoming the secretary general of the UN, and thats only book one of 12 books.

Uggggh, scary thought. And thats one thing I totally agree with on. Kofi is as crooked as rednecks smile. That whole Oil for Food program was an ultra sham that lined Kofi's pockets.

Well, abortions happened then. The countires with the highest abortion rates, are the ones where it is illegal.

Making abortions illegal doesn't stop them, it only makes it more dangerous.
I'm no racist, but I'll say this: The black people in this country seem to think that they are entitled to whatever they want, because they are a minority. There's this black kid at my school that mooches off everyone, and steals food from people, but no one stops him because they are afraid to be branded a racist.

1. Are you saying there were more abortions before Roe v. Wade than there are now? BTW...the infamous "Roe" is now pro-life. :)
2. Using that logic...so would making AK-47's illegal make them more dangerous?
3. I hear ya on that one Willie...minorities and gays and even women for that matter (and others) have da white man on da run... ....They say they want equality??? All they really want is preferential treatment...and when we call them out on it...(especially white males) we are branded as bigots and racists...and we let it happen...I personally think we all are equal and have a special calling in this world...but people are too stupid to see that. In the quest for "equality" what is really happening is more "division".

1. Well, there was more responsibility then, but the main reason a woman has an abortion is because she doesnt want to have it be adopted, and she cant afford it. So she kills it. Great logic isnt it? Abortions have gone up because of population increases.
2. It was more dangerous for the woman when they had to have some dirty man use a coat hanger. Thats I'll I'm going to say, the thought of the way it used to be done makes me glad the ways now are more "humane".
3. Yeah, I agree. The kid was over at my table again at lunch, this time he sat there making rude comments about friends of mine, asking for money, or taking food. Once again I did nothing because I don't want to be judged as a racist. If it was a white kid like me, I'd tell him off.

I'm going to refuse to sit with him if he sits at my table again. I'm his age, but he stayed back. I'm a year older than the other people that sit there, unless some of my friends (girls) come over, but they don't like him, and avoid him.
