You know, dressing up like a soldier from World War II, practicing their tactics, and then playing soldier. Its like cowboys and indians.

The Heer was seperate from the Waffen SS. The Waffen SS was the poltical arm of the SS, the infamous "brownshirts" that also ran the Holocaust, gestapo, and other poltical arms.
One guy in my unit's grandfather died in the war. He went online to eBay to buy a picture for a persona, and he found a picture of his grandfather. His grandfather died in defense of Eastern Prussia at the end of the war.

The SS made boys go to "Sunday School" every sunday to teach them how to be a good little natzi..

Actually it translates to Schutzling Stuschfall. Something like that. The Germans spoke German, not English.

You remind me of a story someone in my group told me.
They were at a pulic display (this was before I joined) and someone said "Wow, I've never met a real Nazi before." And the Soldat responded "You still havent."
