BM2k6 Player Photos

In the past few years on the Mogul forums, there have been some famous people who many admonish for their hard work finding an extensive collaberation of photos of many pros and minors, alike. One person i know who works his butt off doing this is Jeff Olsen. Doing both BM and OOTP pictures. So this is what I think we should do. For 2k6, make the most extensive list of mlb player photos ever. I have a list of 1500+ players that I think we could use for this so far. Feel free to add some players you think should be added. I have the transactions up to date as much as I possibly could(As of 12/19/04 7:45 ET). Thanks for your time.

I thought the list was a little too long to put in the forum page. So I think i'll put it in notepad. The first column is obviously their name, last and first in alphabetical order. Next, we have which team every player that has a team is on. Free Agents are left blank. Then, we have their general position (Catcher, DH, Pitcher, Infielder, Outfielder). Finally, we have the former team of each player in the free agency.

hmm...in that case, I guess i'll start compiling and add as I go along. I've been collecting pictures for a while and have swept in quite a few when I had the great idea to get pictures for all the players in Scorey and Roto's database. I got pretty close, but probably not enough to put out without looking like a cheap ripoff. The following will be in this project...
All players who played in the 2004 season
All players involved in the Arizona Fall League
All players who are on the 40 man roster anytime in the off season
All Non-Roster Invitees
All Top Prospects
All people involved in trades
Many players from Scorey and Roto's database in 2004
All the new players in Clays database (if not mentioned)
Many players from new databases created shortly after 2k6 is retailed.

Yeah, I know...you guys don't care about portraits and action photos, but what else can I do?

I would suggest we try our best to get the most updated photos possible of the player. For example Pedro Martinez in a Mets uniform rather than him in a Red Sox uniform

I definitely agree with you. I know it agitated the heck out of me whenever I found outdated facepacks with like pudge rodriguez still in rangers uniforms and things like that. Yes, some of the deals like Martinez to the Mets, Beltre to the Mariners, as soon as I can get updated pictures for major leaguers, i'll put them in.
