I am noticing something in the leagues I am in... at first I thought it was my bad luck but now I am not sure.
I see an AWFUL lot of pitchers developed with F or D's in movement but stud ratings everywhere else.
In the NPL (where I have had top 10 scouting every season) I find over 100 players with B or better in Control, Power, and F in movement.
There are 42 with F in Power, and B or better in Control, Movement
and only 26 with F in Control, B in Power, Movement.
Last season in NPL it took a 318 BA to get in the top list and the league leader had a 363 BA. BA's are very high across the board, but ERA's are respectable. 3.82 ERA got you on the top list, while the league leader was a respectable 2.44.
However, only 4 people in the league hit 30 or more HR's.
So what I see is LOTS of pitchers with F movement, LOTS of guys hitting the ball a lot, and no power numbers. I think there may be a bug with the generation of pitchers that is causing this.. hitting against a no movement pitching would seem to increase power numbers, but maybe it doesn't in this league (someone throws a straight, fastball over the plate and I smack it out of the park)
