Any chance of the salary system getting revamped in the 2006 version? As it is now, the salary demands by players is ludicrous. It is virtually impossible to keep several very good players w/o having a payroll north of 150 million. Just playing with the Braves, Furcal asked for 13 million a year after hitting .269 with 28 steals. Giles asked for 19.2 million a year after a .328 23hr 87rbi season. And Andruw Jones asked for 29.3 million a year after an admittedly monster year .335 60hr 159rbi, but come on, almost 30mil a year! Even Chipper at 34years old asked for a 4 year extension of 16.3 million a year after back to back poor seasons. Pitchers are just as bad. Guys having a 5+ ERA and poor won/loss records ask for upwards of 15mil a year or more. I realize they are prob asking for money based on thier player rating, but their performance on the field should be the biggest factor. Anyone else notice this?

If you have Baseball Mogul 2005 go to the league editor and there is salary demands, make it lower and the players won't ask for as much money.

That fixes the symptom, not the problem.

yes go into league editor and fix the salary demands if you have 2k5.

Also, if your team has a bankload of money, the demands will be higher too.
