Hello all I will be posting a database with all updated salaries and ALL players on correct teams within the coming days. Any tips or suggestions please leave here. IF anyone knows how to input 2004 stats into the database and get them to show correctly please let me know so the database can start off as 2005.

Hello all, I have finished the American League rosters and contracts are up to date as of today. I have also added all Rule 5 selections to the games and their proper team and have signed all the free agents that were signed to their proper teams. All salaries and length of contracts on the players on the teams i mentioned are correct. I also improved on Mark Bellhorn and Jason Varitek from the Red Sox. Any suggestions please let me know. I will try to get to the National League soon, its a ton of work so please be patient.

I know! this always kind of bugged me. It's been a bug for a while. I don't think Clay's planning on fixing it seeming as we're closer to the making of 2k6 then we are to updating 2k5...I guess we'll just have to live with it.

National Schedule is an AL one? Hmm you may be able to change that and BTW i looked for the clear transactions button and i dont see it. I must not have the newest patch.

If you want to clear out the transactions, go to TOOLS/ADVANCED TOOLS and on the top, there should be a CLEAR TRANSACTIONS button

yea, the schedules with ur roster file are all funky. i started another game as teh Braves to see what would happen and there's not one semblance of a solely national or american league schedule whatsoever. there's an even mix of games against american league and national league teams.

that's because when you change a team name, it moves a lot of the qualities about the teams. Like changing a team from Montreal to Washington. instead of being like the 15th team on the list of teams, it become the last. Therefore, it moves all the schedules up one spot and gives you the Toronto Blue Jays' old schedule. You will also notice that if you are not the Nationals, the blue jays GM on the trade screen will appear as the Nationals GM. It is a weird bug and hopefully for 2k6, it will be gone.

Here is a new roster. All current free agents are now in the free agent list.

How do you imput the new universe into Mogul, after I d/L the file it goes into notepad.

you have to put it in the baseball mogul folder probably C:\Program Files\Sportsmogul\Baseball 2005 you will have to overwrite or change the name of the universe.dat in that folder then start a new game and instead of picking a year choose don't load stats. Then you will be using the file you downloaded. Any problems post.

No offense, but the contracts are all wrong on this. All of the prospects, atleast on the cubs, are signed to one-year deals. Also, Mark Prior is set at 12.5 mil per year for one more year, which definitely is not right. Also, a lot of free agents (like Jeromy Burnitz and Rey Sanchez) are still on their original teams (Rockies and D-Rays, respectively).

well, they did say that the contracts for the National League weren't fixed.

Oh, I hadn't read that yet. There are some free agents though that are still on rosters (the noted Rey Sanchez).

as long as you get rid of Sammy from the Cubbies next, I'll be very happy. I would have been happy with this since 2000. :D
