How about in the next Mogul have real life players join their teams in the years they are supposed to. You dont have to get rid of the draft, but starting a season off in 1986 as Seattle, there is no way to see players like Ken Griffey, Jr which really bites. Not unless you turn on the commissioner mode but that can sometimes take a while adding the real life players year in and year out.

Another thing I would like, if a player misses a year due to injury or playing in Japan or in the minors instead of leaving them off the game entirely in the years they are gone, how about putting them in the Free Agent list. One of my favorite all time players, Bob Horner played his last season in Atlanta in 1986 before spending a season in Japan, he returned to St Louis for 1988, but in the game if you start play in 1987 he is not included. Its like that for other players, how about including them in the game too. If they were injured for the season, why not just have them out for 365 days for that season, which will put them back into power when the next year begins.

Yes, but not in the fashion that he's talking about.

What he means is to keep players on a team in a given year that in real life, they did not play in. For instance, many players didn't play during WWII to go fight. So they were out of action for one or two years. Well, say we start the game in 1942, when many of the starters of earlier seasons were off battling. What will happen to them? they'll seemingly leave the roster completely never to be seen again. Yet if we started in 1944, they would be back on the roster. They wouldn't appear as historical rookies in '42, because they were already player in the major leagues. If we kept them on the DL for year or two, and leave the injury as "fighting war" or something. They'd be free to come back and play there original position. This is also the case in many players who retire one year, and come back the year after.
