i read this and this guy is right.....we need to be the media since the mainstream press are a bunch of propaganda whores

The media seems to be more concentrated on the Brad Pitt breakup story, than anything relevent.

I don't watch the news except for in the morning when I'm eating breakfast. They act like the Tsunaimi is a big deal, but the real problem is in Iraq. I'd guess we've killed at least 115,000 civillians in Iraq.

ACT like it's a big deal? You have got to be kidding! 155,000 dead many more missing. Give me a break. You guys say some things...but this crosses the line. Mugging up for the camera? Those people have lost EVERYTHING! You have no idea what that means, or how they feel. Not just homes, so much more, you can't fathom. That is a disaster no one here can understand because it never happens here. It's like that joke that some comedian said about 1 American equals so many Ethiopians or so many Asians. Well, to some 1 means a lot...a whole lot. There are still 2 of my wife's family missing, and you think they are mugging up to the camera? For what? What do they have to gain for it? A spot on America Idol? No because they feel like the world has abandoned them.

i think you misunderstood........im not denigrating anyone who was affected all im pointing out is that the media whores and people like jeb bush and colin powell and others are there pretending like they care about people in sw asia......i think what happened was horrible......but the larry kings and anderson coopers' and others are just there to get there face time

yeah 150,000k+ people dying is a huge deal.....but iraq is a huge deal too that noone in the mainstream is talking about whatsoever

My apologies. I did not mean to make it sound like I do not care, because I do. However, compared to other events, this is given much less time in the news, such as an unsolved murder.
