I think its well written, and he makes some good points. What I think a lot of Americans refuse to realize, is that Iraqis blame us for not removing saddam the first time, and the resulting sanctions. Its been proven that sanctions never do anything to their intended effect. What sanctions are supposed to do, is cause the population of the country to rise against the leaders. I cannot think of a time when this has happened. Ever.

No, I didn't know that

They also have a very high education rate... people with doctrates drive taxi's for a living.

they are well educated.....but hampered on economic ventures because of the sanctions
