Every fourth or fifth day, this seems to occur
The sim time in the league is adjusted automatically, instead of going at the regular time, it's adjusted like 8 hours, AND the league's status is automatically set to pause. The only way I've figured out how to fix this is to go to the "modify sim time" option and repetitiously pause and unpause the game a few times, allowing the system to un-pause. Obviously the point is that I have not edited anything in regards to the sim time, and so the system is doing it....by itself...
Hopefully this is a bug that can be fixed rather swiftly as I hate signing on a few hours after what I thought would be the day's first simulation and realizing none have gone through...
