I don't see an option under "save game" that allows you to save as a dat file. Whenever anyone's updated rosters or corrected ratings we've been able to download them as a universe.dat file. I'm attempting to change a couple ratings and save so I don't have to do it over and over again. Any suggestions?:

Yeah, we don't save with .dat anymore because it dosen't give you as many layers to edit and things like that. So the only way to get a universe is to edit a file, and save it as Universe. Next time you start a game, go to Custom Universe under 2005.

I tried this to update my roster I had from 2k5 and it worked so.... just rename the thing universe.mog and it will work fine in 2k6... then just save there.... about 3 and a half months of updating to do left for my roster then player add ins....probably be about ohhhh anywhere from couple days to a week.
