I just have to say i've enjoyed the game very much(baseball) and i've played alot.
But a few things came up that I thought I'd like to share. As someone who has played a ton.

1.Trade draft picks.I do quite well at the game and I never get a high draft pick.I'd like to trade up.

2.Trades.The PC teams will always trade if you make them the right offer. Some players should be untradeable.

3.You should be able to save your settings.I've spent alot of time punching in the settings I want for my game.

4.The draft really slows down the game.

5.The game is useless before 1993.Why because of the playoff structure. You take out the wild card team and the extra round of playoffs and the season becomes less profitabe.

6.Why dose the game tank when you make 400m.Should be unlimited.I hate that when it starts to tank.I want to amass a fortune if I'm that good at the game.

7.PC teams don't supply enough competition. After a while I can win the WS every year.If you get better they should too.

8.Shipping cost too high.I'd like to give you my money but I can get it shipped alot cheaper through ebay.

It's a great game and I'm looking forward to a hockey version.wink wink
I'm not here to knock anyone but i've played the azz off it and this is what I found out.

1. You can't trade draft picks in the real major leagues. I don't see a reason why you should be able to in this game.
2. Its like real baseball noone is off limits its just sometimes they go cheap.
4. The Draft is one of the features if you sim it it goes by really fast. If your like me you just pick the highest talented player with the least amount of years on his life.
5. Weren't the major leagues like this before '93?
7. What difficulty do you have it set on? Did you make players or edit them before you started?

I'll concede on the draft pick one.I supose I could just buy the high picks off other teams.Whitch I do anyway.

If I offer enough money I can get a team to trade me a player.Leaving them no one at that position.

I like the draft too.But you have to search through the players. To get players you want a certain positions.Me I love drafting starting pitching. So I always take the best starting prospect available.

No it was the year of expantion. Before that it went straight to the div series.

I play at the highest level.I'd just like to see the teams be a little smarter

Nice to meet you amigo

The AI is pretty dumb but Clay is always working on improving it. The trading aspect is the next thing that needs to be tweaked after some more bugs.

To quote myself I meant 92 be it.

I think the draft is pretty easy to search. There are so many options it's as simple as can be. You can search by any skill you want (i.e. Endurance, Speed, Range ect.)

I will repeat what Twinswillwin has said.

A1- you cant trade draft picks in real life.

A2- in real life, no player is untradeable...even if a GM says so....any player is up if the offer is right

A3- the settings are for each game.... why save settings, when each team is different.

A4- not really, sim one day, and you can sim thru it in like 15 seconds...what kind of CPU do you have?

A5- if you did know anything about baseball you would know there was no wildcard before 1993 in real life.

1901-1968

World Series: AL and NL with the best record. (best of ****) some years best of 5, 7 or 9 games. usually 7 games.

1969-1992

AL east vs. AL west (best of 7)
NL east vs. NL west (best of 7)

AL champion vs NL champion in the world series. (best of 7)

1993-current

AL- top record in each division, and the best 2nd place record. goes to the playoffs.
AL east
AL central
Al West
AL wild card-

NL- top record in each division and the best 2nd place record goes to the playoffs.
NL east
NL central
NL west
NL wildcard

A6- many mariner fans were upset when the mariners made 10 million in the 2003 season...and refused to get a bat at the deadline...besides the record falling....attendance droped in the first weeks of the season...because of just 10million. Now if a team was hoarding a lot of money of course fans would be upset, because all the finances are public.

A7- usually the problem is the the Large markets turn into dynasties...Boston, LA, New York Mets....Anaheim...win WS after WS...even hard for a Human to win....if you want a challenge, try an online league... BMO always has openings!

A8- shipping to high... the cd version isnt out yet.....so try the download and make your own CD.

I think one problem related to the hording of money, is that to build a new stadium you need at least several 100s millions in cash. So while you horde to buy a new stadium your attendance suffers. In real life these stadiums are either paid entirely by the city/state and naming rights, or financied over many years. There should be some way to do make this more realistic, like adding an option to pay for the stadium over time.

I'd like that because you'd be able to make a team more succesful with the new stadium while you made more money to pay for it because you had the bigger stadium.
