roster update

Okay am close to having all the transactions done. That said I will then still need to work on the salaries and contracts.... AND THEN add in a bunch of players to top it off.

That said I leave it up to everyone here.... do you want just the update with all the transactions done or wait and have it all done before I put it out??

Bear in mind too this is an update on the old roster from 2k5 and I've not gone back to adjust historical stats for some of the players etc so that is still there as before too.:)

Okay transactions have been updated but have to add in players etc and try working on the salaries and contract lengths as well. Part way there....

Okay have figured out my glitch/problem of moving players from one universe to another to help cut down time on adding in players....

with that said I polished off the national league tonight and will move over the remainder of the american league...

once that is done I'll toss in more players and get the salaries and contracts at least somewhat right and go through and get rid of some of the retired guys to make a bit more room on the FA lists so I don't loose a lot of players from there.

Barring problems I would say a couple days it'll be ready. It'll suffice till the real great roster gurus get theirs out!:p

I'll try to get them as best I can... not going to ever say they will be perfect but will do what I can to get them at least reasonably close to actual along with the contract lengths etc...

here's an excel file of a bunch of contract data i've compiled ... pink spots are where something wasn't/hasn't been disclosed ... players signed for 1 year with no money specified are on minor league deals, players under the team but with no year or money specified are still under cost control. ... thought it might help if you don't wanna go searching around everywhere for salaries.

Okay I have to add in 190 players to the teams still but that won't take too long as will do as I did before and comp gen overwrite them....

jstern2 no probs though other than adding in tons of players I cannot take credit... this is based off a 2k3 or 2k4 I can't remember which roster of Scorey's making I went in and dumped huge amounts of players into and updated and tweaked... to cut time I was able with this latest update and fact I can dump more players in, I pulled some from live's universe as well as the lahmanns..... so credit those two guys bigtime for their efforts.

bennet thanks that will definitly help too as have the contracts and salaries to try and update best I can as well. Appreciate the help.
