Where did my League go?

I have been playing in a league called League Of Champions for about 2 months..... I saw a few games tick by this afternoon---and then POOF the league is no longer on the My Account page----------it also says that I am entered in 2 leagues now instead of the 3..... I had for 2 months?

What happened? If this is normal what is the freaking point of playing? very frustrated

Your league commissioner may have reset the league or disbanded it altogether. This happened to me, without any warning, about a month ago. It stinks.

FWIW, BBMO is quite aware of this problem and seems committed to finding another solution, so the commish can't just instantly zap a league unexpectedly. Or at least they are listening to our complaints in this area.

At any rate, I don't think this is in the top 3 of things to be fixed (I don't sense the urgency) but I could be wrong. Still, it is helpful for us to make this kind of noise when this happens.

My suggestion to BBMO is to eliminate a commish's ability to instantly dissolve a league. Put in a 2 day waiting period or something, so that any attempt to cancel takes 48 hours to be processed, and the entire league is notified that the league is on its deathbed.

I know. We've been working on ways to avoide this problem, but most of our solutions have put too much load on the server (such as copying the rosters and history and producing a copy of that league).

I think the best solution would be to not allow a commissioner to disband a league unless there is no one left in it. If there are players left, the league would be released into the public domain as a public league.

League of Champions DISAPPEARED . . . BUT NEVER AGAIN...
please rejoin the new league (although it'll never be the same) with LEAGUE OF CHAMPIONS II. (I go outa town for work for a week---came back and they were Gone... I've even had a 12-Game Win Streak --like that's ever happened to me before...)
So-I vow to KEEP THIS LEAGUE OPEN---no matter how I happen to be doing... maybe the former owner didn't win ... don't know... but I was heading into the playoffs after three years of building from a last place team...Argh...
