Too many long and serious injuries/ arbitration problems

After updating 2006 to version 8.09 I have had problems with ridiculous injuries. 25 to 50% of my roster comes out of spring training with mostly serious and long term injuries. It seems to be 98% pitchers who are hurt. How do I fix this? Also often when I save and come back to the game all of my arbitration eligible players come due in the same year.

what do you have the injury setting at?

I too have noticed a significant increase in injuries with the new update. I haven't changed the injury setting either.

I cannot remember where I have seen the settings for injuries as it has never been a problem 'till now I never monkeyed with it. Also now my minor leaguers are getting hurt, If this happened before I never noticed it. I kinda like it though, makes you carry more less talented players down there just in case.

Found the setting but also found more on this subject in bugs section. Injuries setting probably wont fix it.
