I am considering getting out. I am getting frustrated.I try to develop players. I am #1 in Farm and Scouting. I trade for 100 point potential players only to have them drop 5 to 10 points a year in potential until they are 85 pointers, Just when they are almost ready to start. I've had one drop to the mid 70's before he was 30. The game has lost credibility when hot shot prospects NEVER make good starting talent.

I think there are many variables in prospect development. Obviously all cannot pan out due to overall talent level in the league. In fact, I think I heard that there should only be 3-4 players in each draft that actually develop into superstars otherwise the league will be flooded with these. Another 20 or so should be "good" everyday players. Also, I think the intention is that the "average" starter is mid-80's. Too often it seems we all think we should have 9 starters in the high to mid-90's.

Think about it- every baseball team drafts about 20-30 guys to field low A and rookie ball, and a good draft by most standards is if three players can make it to the bigs, so your looking at about a 90 percent fail rate. For every Mark Prior there are nine other Bill Pulphishers.
