The Braves had a 59.5% winning percentage in the 1990s (925-629) and made the playoffs 8 of the 10 years however they choked only winning the Series once (1995) and losing in four other ones (1991,1992,1996,1998).

The Yankees had a slightly worse winning percentage 54.8% (851-702) and only made the playoffs 5 times but went to the series and won all three times they went which gave them the term "Team of the 90s".

This dynasty will last from 1990-1999 and be an attempt at the following goals:

1) Win/Appear in more World Series then the real life Braves did
2) Win/Appear in more World Series then the Yankees
3) Have a better winning percentage then the Yankees
4) Earn the term.. TEAM OF THE 90s!

Note: I use to write Dynasties back for BBM2004/2003... I just recently got 2006. Some old timers might remember a dynasty or two. If you go through my old posts you could find some, I'm too lazy at the moment to find them

This is obviously a decent lineup. I'll see what happens. Farming and Medical are $3M each for 1st in the league. I'll roll with the punches and see how this season shapes up.

April 18-7 - 1 GB of SF
TOP HITTER: CF Dale Murphy (.359 6 HR 19 RBI)
TOP PITCHER: Tom Glavine (4-1, 3.07 ERA)

3rd day of the season and LF Lonnie Smith goes down for 164 days with a Torn Ankle Ligament. I brought up 18 year old rookie Ryan Klesko to replace him.

I replaced Andres Thomas at SS with Jeff Blauser. Blauser was coming off the bench and batting like a mad man. He deserved the starting nod for a while.

Injuries left and right. Klesko goes down for a week. Jody Davis down for two weeks. The lineup is a random drop of the hat everyday. And we still pull of a 10 game winning streak through the middle of the month.

May 11-18 4.5 GB of SF | 29-25 overall
BEST HITTER: 3B Ron Gant (.303 BA, 8 HR, 8 SB)
BEST PITCHER: Tom Glavine (7-2, 2.00 ERA) & John Smoltz (7-3, 2.97 ERA)

Started the month 0-4. Blah.

Not much to say about this month. It was ugly.

SP Charlie Leibrandt has an ERA of 2.79 but is 1-5. That's tough.

Greg Maddux over at the Cubs is 9-3 with a 0.94 ERA... he's a free agent this offseason. Let's hope history repeats itself and we pick him up.

June 10-17 12.5 GB of SF | 39-42 overall

Started this month 0-5 too. Commonnn....

I think I found the key for my ills and its my bullpen. A combined 6 BS. Stanton has an ERA of 6.17, Wohlers 4.06 and Castillo 5.70. They're my go-to guys in the clutch and they're blowing it. Time to start browsing the trading blocks pretty soon.

I looked and couldn't find anyone to tickle my fancy for now. This season is looking poor. The Yanks are 42-41 so far this year so they're not too far ahead of us either. I'm hoping these little injuries here and there cut out pretty soon that's whats killing us besides my crappy bullpen.
