I remember back when I owned Mogul '99, it was always a blast to turn on Commisioner Mode, create a new team, and then force-trade the players from this dummy club to all the other real teams in return for the MLB's best. This way, I'd end up creating a sort of Dream Team. Then I'd sim the whole season to see how much damage my club of all All-Stars could do against the rest of the league, who was now playing with whomever I didn't steal from them and whatever horrible players I gave them in trade. I did this yesterday with Mogul '03, simming two seasons in a row, and racked up, like, a 135-30 record or something both times (amazingly, though, one year I was swept in the World Series by the remnants of the White Sox). It's not fair, no, but it's fun as heck (in a power-drunk sort of way) to have a lineup consisting of Ichiro, Jeter, Piazza, Bonds, Sosa, Bagwell, Rolen, & Alomar. I mean, the opposing pitching hasn't a space to breathe at all, and you routinely rack up awesome scores like 22-3, 18-1, etc. Anybody else ever try this?

Yeah, I did a lot of this customization with 2k3. It was a lot of fun, it's even better when you trade for the best players every year.

It's even better when you build your own team through the draft and free agency and can rack up 125+ wins per season on Mogul level... ;)

...and even better still if you're able to do it against 29 other humans in a Baseball Mogul Online league.

... and EVEN better when you can ABSOLUTELY CRUSH the guy who WROTE the game, even though he has the entire Yankee payroll to work with, and could cheat if he wanted to.

This of course is how some folks discovered that Baseball Mogul stops tracking Win Streaks after 60 in-a-row...

I'll never forget the season I went 161-1 and lost three to zip in the first round of the playoffs...
