"Peak" way off............

Man I went and saw the Brewers play this weekend against the Pirates and Rickie Weeks is going to be a special player. Hit a homer in all three games and has been in the majors for only a matter of weeks. The Brewers still stink but having Rickie and Ben Sheets on the team makes them a little easier to watch.

I then return home to promote Rickie from AA and find that his "peak" rating is only 81 !!!!!! Now I don't expect the game to be perfect but this guy was drafted (I think) third overall a couple of years ago and had "can't miss" written all over him.

Why the low "peak" rating?

The peaks for prospects seem to be just kind of thrown in there willy-nilly. Like Delmon Young of Tamp Bay having a 65 peak, and Cole Hamels being an ace starter in 2005. I would suggest downloading a custom database and maybe the creator will have adjusted these ratings to better reflect reality.
